Hello, my name is ShaKaren Watson, the founder of She Speaks Ministries. I am a mother of three beautiful children whom I strive to become a better version of myself every day. I wanted to establish this organization because for a long time, I have lived in the shadow of others, never truly discovering my true self. This led me to the name “She Speaks.” In 2016, I found my own faith in Jesus. Although I have fallen short, I continue to choose to do His works. My ultimate goal is to reveal His glory, and I believe I can achieve this through this ministry.

Hello, my name is Karolyn Broadway. I’m the co-founder of She Speaks Ministries. I’m a mom who has overcome some challenging times but has found healing and purpose in Jesus. In the past, I sought validation from others and material possessions, but only Jesus truly fulfills me. I don’t follow Him because I’m perfect; I follow Him because He is, and I recognize the constant need for His presence in my life. His grace enveloped me during my darkest moments, and His love continues to transform me gradually. Becoming a mom and serving in ministry has added immense meaning to my life. Every day, I aspire to emulate Jesus’s life, love, and service, and to simply walk in His truth. I’ve finally shed the shackles of fear and now find myself guided by faith. I follow Christ because in Him, I’ve discovered my true self.
